There are 40 other icons from St. George's Church in Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci in Vojvodina, and they too will be returned to Bobota after they are restored, Sulc said.
The Croatian and Serbian commissions for the return of cultural artefacts have reached agreement on the return of the remaining artefacts to Vukovar.
Sulc said that cooperation with Serbia was good and she believed Croatia would manage to claim back all of its artefacts.
Croatia is yet to claim back some artefacts from the collection of the Krka Orthodox monastery and the town museums in Knin and Vukovar.
Croatia is still seeking 24,844 artefacts from 45 museums and galleries. Until 2007, 21,347 museum items were returned, and another 3,098 missing or stolen items from monasteries, churches, private collections, libraries and archives are being sought.
Between 2001 and 2007, 25,199 artefacts were returned from Serbia to museums, galleries and churches in Croatia.
The next meeting of the joint commission for the repossession of cultural artefacts is to be held in Belgrade in May.
