ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - The Croatian translation of a book written by Derek Chollet, a US foreign affairs expert, on the 1995 Dayton peace accords and peace processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina was promoted in the Croatian History Institute in Zagreb on Wednesday.
ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - The Croatian translation of a book written by Derek Chollet, a US foreign affairs expert, on the 1995 Dayton peace accords and peace processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina was promoted in the Croatian History Institute in Zagreb on Wednesday.

Speeches were delivered by US Ambassador to Croatia Robert Bradtke, Croatian historian Tvrtko Jakovina, Croatian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Hido Biscevic, who is the book's consulting editor, and translator Zoran Bosnjak, an ambassador in the Croatian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

"The Road to the Dayton Accords" is a book about dramatic negotiations at a secluded Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. The book sheds new light on one of the Clinton administration's most important, and lasting, diplomatic achievements, which proved to be a critical turning point for America's relationship with Europe.

Derek Chollet is a fellow in the CSIS International Security Program and a professor at Georgetown University.
