Seks thanked Cyprus for supporting Croatia in its efforts to achieve its main foreign policy goal of becoming a member of the European Union.
Seks called for closer parliamentary cooperation between the two countries so that Croatia could learn from Cyprus's experience from the process of its accession to the EU.
Lillikas confirmed his country's readiness to continue to support Croatia on its path to EU membership, saying there were no disagreements among EU member states over Croatia's EU entry.
Lillikas commended Croatia for the results it had achieved on the road to the EU and supported the proposal to establish closer parliamentary cooperation between Croatia and Cyprus.
Lillikas said that Cyprus was also interested in Turkey joining the bloc as soon as it met the necessary requirements, noting that EU membership brings peace and stability that are necessary for progress and development, the statement said.
