Israel, Hina learnt from the Croatian government's Public Relations Office on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, April 24 (Hina) - Israeli Vice-Premier and Nobel Peace
Prize laureate Shimon Peres arrives in Zagreb on Thursday for a visit, during
which he will meet top Croatian officials to discuss bilateral relations
between Croatia and Israel, Hina learnt from the Croatian government's Public
Relations Office on Tuesday. Peres is due to meet President Stjepan
Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, and deliver a talk at the Croatian
Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is also expected to visit the southern coastal
city of Split.
Peres will be the highest Israeli official to visit Croatia after
President Moshe Katsav, who made an official visit to Croatia in 2003.
