Bill died of cancer, his wife confirmed for Hina on Monday evening.
On April 2, Osijek County Court investigating judge Mario Kovac interviewed Bill as a witness in the Sellotape war crimes case in Zagreb, as he was unable to travel to Osijek due to his illness.
Several years before the start of the investigation into the killing of civilians in Osijek in 1991, Bill had accused Glavas in the media of ordering the crimes.
Glavas and Darko Tolic, an employee at the Secretariat for National Defence in Osijek, which at the time was headed by Glavas, sued Bill for slander.
