OSIJEK, April 5 (Hina) - Gordana Getos Magdic, a suspect in the Sellotape war crimes case who recently underwent surgery for ileus in the Osijek Clinical Hospital, has started a huger strike, Osijek County Court spokesman Miroslav Rozac said.

Rozac told Hina that he received the latest information from the head of the Osijek Prison and that he knew no other details.

Getos Magdic was on a hunger strike in the Osijek Prison from 21 to 29 March, when she fell ill and had to undergo surgery in the Osijek hospital.

Her attorney Ljubica Vrsaljko Matijevic said she had been informed by Getos Magdic's brother that her client was refusing necessary medications and that her difficult mental condition had been aggravated by reports of a meeting between Osijek police chief Vladimir Faber and her former attorney Radoslav Arambasic, as well as that she feared facing a rigged trial.

Getos Magdic and six other persons, including parliamentary deputy Branimir Glavas, are suspected of the murder of ten people and an attempted murder in Osijek in 1991.
