General Kadijevic has no friend or protector in Washington and there has been no deal with him on immunity, Bradtke told Croatian television.
If the general believes in his immunity, let him get out of his hideout and report to the first police station, and it will be clear soon that there is no such immunity, the US ambassador said.
Kadijevic has been indicted by three Croatian courts for war crimes committed in Croatia in the early 1990s. Croatia has issued an international warrant for his arrest.
Business.hr published a telephone interview with Kadijevic on Monday, saying that the 82-year-old general was staying in an EU member state.
