ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - Six major Croatian exporting companies in the areas of wood processing, stone cutting, food, and oil presented their products and services in Paris on Tuesday, the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) said in a statement.

The presentation was organised by the HGK and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, one of Europe's most prominent and influential chambers which gathers about 310,000 French companies.

The event took place as part of a seminar at which Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polancec, Minister of Maritime Affairs, Tourism, Transport and Development Bozidar Kalmeta and State Secretary for Maritime Affairs Branko Bacic presented the Croatian economy, the most important Croatian economic and political goals, and infrastructure projects.

HGK Vice-President Dunja Konjevod informed participants about the current presence of French firms in Croatia and presented business opportunities in the country.

Major French investors presented their reasons for investment in Croatia and offered their experience and advice to French companies interested in doing business in Croatia. They recommended that French companies take their first step on the Croatian market through a partnership with Croatian firms.
