Sanader attended a summit of the European People's Party and held talks, among others, with his Slovene counterpart Janez Jansa.
"I talked with Jansa about this outstanding issue in our bilateral relations. We have closed it now and the solution will be effected in the coming days," said Sanader.
When it comes to the purchase of real estate, "there was good will to regulate this through an exchange of notes. There were problems in Slovenia's practice, for example four Croatian citizens had big problems in purchasing real estate in Slovenia, but this has been settled now," Sanader said.
He added that Jansa had confirmed that "on the Slovene side there are no problems at all for Croats to buy real estate in Slovenia, so on the principle of reciprocity, we too will forward a note to the effect that Croats and Slovenes had equal rights".
