VIENNA, March 10 (Hina) - Serbian and Kosovar Albanian officials met in Vienna on Saturday for what could be the last time before a United Nations plan offering independence for the breakaway province of Kosovo goes to the U.N. Security Council.

Serbia's delegation is led by President Boris Tadic and Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, while Kosovo is represented by President Fatmir Sejdiu and Prime Minister Agim Ceku.

"We came here today to complete this important process and make our contribution to an independent Kosovo," Kosovo President Sejdiu said on arrival at the Hofburg Palace.

Serbian President Boris Tadic and Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica declined to talk to reporters. Upon arriving in Vienna, however, Kostunica said Serbia wold not accept any proposal that undermined its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Negotiations between Serbians and ethnic Albanians concerning Kosovo's future status lasted for over a year but Belgrade and Pristina could not find a compromise solution.
