VILNIUS, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday finished his two-day official visit to Lithuania with talks with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas on Croatia's efforts to join the European Union and
NATO and Lithuania's support to Zagreb's endeavours.
VILNIUS, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on
Wednesday finished his two-day official visit to Lithuania with talks with
Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas on Croatia's efforts to join the
European Union and NATO and Lithuania's support to Zagreb's endeavours. Earlier in the day, Mesic delivered a talk at the Institute for Foreign
Affairs and Political Science in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius and met
Parliament Speaker Viktoras Muntianas.
Upon his arrival in Vilnius on Tuesday, Mesic held talks with his host,
President Valdas Adamkus, and later with Defence Minister Jouzas Olekas.
Mesic's visit was the confirmation of good political relations between
the two European countries.
