BELGRADE, Jan 21 (Hina) - The turnout at Sunday's parliamentary elections in Serbia until 5 pm was 46.5% or around 3,100,000 of 6,652,106 registered voters, the Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CESID) said at a news
conference.

elections in Serbia until 5 pm was 46.5% or around 3,100,000 of 6,652,106
registered voters, the Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CESID) said at
a news conference. The turnout in Serbia proper was 47%, in
Vojvodina 47.3%, in Kosovo 41.5% and in Belgrade 45%.
CESID director Zoran Lucic said that the turnout could be higher than
the one in the 2003 parliamentary vote.
Polling stations were opened at 7 am and will close at 8 pm.
Candidates from 20 party and coalition lists are running in the
election.
