As in previous years, most illegal immigrants were from Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey, Moldova, Romania and Macedonia.
Of the 1,719 aliens, 1,626 were men, 83 were women and 10 were children.
The reception centre released 1,714 aliens, mostly for the purpose of their deportation (1,642), while the rest left because the time envisaged for their accommodation in the centre expired.
The reception centre at Jezevo is intended for aliens who were banned from Croatia by court order but cannot be sent away immediately.
