ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - The World Bank Office in Croatia, which
has ensured funds for the civil society sector in 2007, on Friday called on
interested NGOs to contact the office so that they could be granted small
incentives amounting to between USD3,000 and 5,000. The office said
in a statement that the year 2007 was the seventh consecutive year that the
World Bank in Croatia was giving small incentives to the civil society
sector.
The program of small incentives helps activities which encourage
citizens to take the initiative in development, assume responsibility and
participate in society, and strengthen partnership with public and private
sectors and other organisations of civil society.
