The 20-year girl with the so-called kokarda cap, which was the symbol of the WWII Serb nationalistic Chetnik movement, was taken before a magistrate in Gracac after the police noticed her with the unacceptable symbols at the commemorative event, the Lika-Senj police department reported on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Croatian television (HTV) prime times news programme, the Serbian citizen was released after she paid a fine.
The commemoration for victims of the Ustasha-run concentration camp at Jadovno was held on Saturday near the Saranova Jama pit on Mount Velebit near the town of Gospic with Croatian President Ivo Josipovic addressing the event.
