"We did our best to host the festival this year, but unfortunately we have to inform you that the INmusic festival will not be able to take place in 2023," reads the announcement.
The ongoing consequences of the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, inflation and the general feeling of insecurity that many feel in their daily lives have resulted in conditions that do not allow a completely independent music festival, such as INmusic, to take place, the organisers said.
In the current circumstances, they add, it is not possible to deliver the best possible international live music festival for a ticket price determined according to the financial constraints of the local audience.
Unwilling to give up any of the principles that make INmusic what it is, the organisers decided that it is best to focus on future editions of the festival.
"We hope that the 16th edition of the INmusic festival will take place in 2024 and that we will be able to share its dates with you in the coming months."
