INA has begun production of natural gas from the new Ika B-1R-DIR well by connecting it to the existing production systems of the IKA B.
The oil well is located on the Ika gas field, which is part of the North Adriatic exploitation field.
The Ika B-1R-DIR well was successfully connected to the existing INA production system in the northern Adriatic, ensuring the supply of an additional 150.000 m³ of natural gas per day into the Croatian gas system.
The annual production of the new well will amount to nearly 55 million m³, which currently represents nearly 7% of INA’s total offshore and onshore gas production.
