ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - The War Veterans Ministry on Wednesday responded sharply to opposition politician Mirando Mrsic's statements about the pension system and veterans' pensions, stressing that Mrsic had presented a number of untruths and was attacking the veteran population without any grounds, and that the policy on war veterans of the government of which he was a member "could be described as a scorched earth policy".
