The exhibition of the works of Ivan Kozaric, Djuro Seder, Josip Vanista, Nives Kavuric Kurtovic, Boris Bucan, Sanja Ivekovic, Ivana Franke and Zlatan Vehabovic was opened by Croatian Parliament Speaker Josip Leko.
He said this was an important contribution to the presentation of Croatian culture in Europe because national culture crossed the borders of the nation in which it was created, while at the same time including the nation in the best way possible in a bigger picture for which one could say - united in diversity.
The European Parliament's art collection was founded in 1980 and comprises more than 600 paintings, sculptures and other works from all European Union countries.
