(Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday launched
a procedure for assessing whether Article 22 of the decision by the
Vukovar Town Council to amend the town's statute, which would exempt
Vukovar from the law on the use of minority languages and scripts and
from Article 12 of the constitutional law on national minority rights,
was in line with the Constitution.
