ZAGREB, Dec 11
(Hina) - The law on financial operations and
pre-bankruptcy settlement has mostly failed to fulfil its objective --
it has failed to improve the performance of the companies concerned
and to ensure their thorough restructuring, settlements are
threatening the assets of both the creditors and the debtors, and in
case of many companies that have reached a settlement there is no
guarantee that they will be successful in their further operation, a
round-table discussion organised by Banka business magazine said on
Wednesday.
