(Hina) - World AIDS Day, observed on December 1, is an
opportunity to draw public attention to the importance of preventing
HIV infection which, according to the World Health Organisation,
affects over 35 million people round the world. It is also an
opportunity to show solidarity and help reduce discrimination and
stigmatisation of AIDS patients.
