In his sermon, Pozaic warned that rejection of God and the divine and natural laws led to the destruction of the human being, the family and the nation, and that cultural revolutions undermined the family, society and marriage.
Jovanovic wrote he was certain that Pozaic had not read even one of the pontiff's books "because Pope Francis says: I abhor intellectuals who have no talent and ethicists who have no kindness in them... Ethics is the flower of human kindness. It is rooted in the ability to be kind which man or society possesses. Otherwise, it turns into moralising, false ethics and eventually to ultimate hypocrisy."
Pozaic was also criticised by the Civil Action NGO, which said in a press release on Saturday that in his statements about "the criminal ideology of the current regime", the destruction of family, and "brainwashing", instead of encouraging humanism and love, he was inciting hatred, divisions and fear.
