Foreign direct investments in Croatia in the first half of 2013 amounted to EUR 426.9 million, and broken down by country most of them came from Germany, EUR 127.7 million, followed by the Netherlands (EUR 60.2 million), Austria (EUR 41.3 million) and France (EUR 33.3 million), the corrected figures show.
The new figures indicate a larger amount of investments from Austria than given in the initial report released on October 9. The table no longer contains a reference to Australia which in the previous report ranked fourth among the 30 largest investors in Croatia.
The HNB explained that the incorrect figures had been supplied by a legal entity.
