Drawing up the documents included identifying the many problems, public discussions with interested parties, studying foreign models, collecting and processing data on the media in Croatia, and preparing additional researches, spokeswoman Natasa Petrinjak said.
The Culture Ministry started systematically dealing with the media in early 2012, she said, recalling the transformation of its European Affairs Department into the Public Communication Service, which has a Media and Digitisation Division, under a regulation on the ministry's organisation.
The changes did not result in any downsizing, Petrinjak said.
