"Practically, there will be two constituencies in the Federation, but not in the formal and legal sense," Komsic told reporters in Sarajevo, commenting on the failure of the leaders of seven Bosnian political parties to agree with EU representatives in Brussels earlier today a new model for the election of members to the state Presidency.
Komsic said he received this information from sources in Brussels and that the new solution would be in line with a proposal by the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), which suggested creating two multi-ethnic constituencies in the Croat-Bosniak Federation for the election of two members of the three-member Presidency.
The Social Democratic Party rejected the SDA proposal, saying it would lead to the establishment of a third entity in the country.
