(Hina) - Unannounced checks of sick leaves in 2012
conducted by the Croatian Health Insurance Agency (HZZO) show that
every fourth insured person off work for reasons of sickness was
longer than necessary on sick leave, the Agency has reported. The
reasons for opening sick leave are found to be justified, but sick
leave duration for every fourth case seems to be unjustified.
