The number of days which foreign cruise ships stayed in Croatia in the first half of the year went up 12.4% to a total of 625.
The largest number of cruises, 68, was achieved by ships sailing under the Bahamian flag, followed by 58 cruises under the Maltese flag, 46 under the Italian and 45 under Panama's flag.
There were 20 cruises from Bermuda, 15 from France, 12 from Portugal, ten from Belgium, and under ten from Finland, Greece, Japan, Luxembourg, the Marshall Islands, the Netherlands, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Broken down by month, June saw the highest number of foreign cruises (119), five less than in June 2012. There were 112 cruises in May, three more on the year. Much higher increases, even above 100 per cent, were recorded in the first three months of the year.
