Dacic was commenting on Saturday's statement by the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Vincent Degert, that Serbia would only get the green light on June 28.
"We are interested in a positive decision by the European Council. If we don't get it, I think we have been deceived," Dacic told reporters, reiterating that Serbia was interested only in that decision, "as the EU promised us."
"We made a deal - the Brussels agreement, an implementation plan, the implementation of what has been agreed, and the adoption of a positive decision on the start of negotiations with the EU. We are complying and have done our part. We expect the EU to abide by the deal too," Dacic said, adding that he did not know when Serbia could get a date for the start of entry talks if not now, after everything it had done.
Degert said on Saturday the European Council would not decide on a date for the start of accession negotiations with Serbia on June 28 but only about greenlighting the opening of the talks. He said Belgrade should not speculate what would happen at the June 28 session and that the most important thing for Serbia was to make as much progress as possible in the application of the agreement with Kosovo.
