ZAGREB, May 27
(Hina) - The President of the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Theodor Meron, said on
Monday that the Hague-based tribunal has contributed to the fight
against impunity and paved the way for the establishment of other
international criminal tribunals, including the first permanent
International Criminal Court (ICC).
