The body recalled in a statement that it was the only legitimately elected body representing 17,000 Roma in Croatia.
The statement said that the government, without consulting the coordinating body, allocated funds that were being spent irrationally, and warned about corruption and the non-transparent legalisation of Roma settlements and facilities.
The Roma national minority live in daily fear that their homes will be demolished and have no financial support to legalise the facilities, the statement said, accusing the ruling coalition of having no political will to deal with such problems.
