BELGRADE, April 22
(Hina) - The Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox
Church said on Monday that by initialling the agreement with Pristina
at EU-brokered negotiations in Brussels last Friday Belgrade
"indirectly and tacitly" recognised the existence of a state authority
in Kosovo that was independent of Serbia, and that the final price for
entry into the European Union would be for Serbia to formally
recognise Kosovo's independence.
