In 73 local self-government units, 75 deputies will be elected from the ranks of national minorities and the Croat people - 39 from the Serb minority, seven from the Italian minority, four each from the Czech and Hungarian minorities, two each from the Ruthenian, Roma and Bosniak minorities, one from the Slovak minority, and 14 deputies from the Croat people in towns or municipalities where a minority has the majority.
The last local elections were held on 17 May 2009.
