ZAGREB, April 1
(Hina) - With incessant precipitations over the last
few days, levels of water in rivers and streams in northwestern
Croatia raised considerably during the last weekend, which was why
Croatia's National Protection and Rescue Directorate issued flood
alerts for the areas around the capital of Zagreb and the city of
Karlovac on 2100 hrs Sunday. Flood alerts were in force on Monday for
many regions in the northwest of the country.
