The Libyans were being treated in Fojnica Spa, central Bosnia for wounds sustained in battle as the Muammar Gaddafi regime was being toppled.
They turned out to be problematic patients, however, causing a number of incidents in the town's bars, the latest of which took place in the night between Monday and Tuesday, when a Bosnian citizen was lightly injured in a fight they had caused. The Libyans were fined and placed under Security Ministry supervision.
Their visas were cancelled because of contempt for Bosnia's public order and they were banished from the country for the next three years.
The Security Ministry reported similar incidents in May 2012 with a group of wounded Libyans undergoing rehabilitation in Sarajevo.
