ZAGREB, March 25
(Hina) - Croatia needs big investments into the
further development of the water supply network as well as into the
maintenance of the existing infrastructure, although the country can
boast a high-quality water from the public supply system and
considerable investments into the improvement of that system and an
increase in space of irrigated land, the state-run Croatian water
management company's director-general Ivica Plisic said at a ceremony
held in Zagreb on Monday on the occasion of World Water Day, observed
on 22 March.
