ZAGREB, March 15
(Hina) - As a result of the low birth rate and
extended life expectancy Croatia is one of the 'oldest' countries in
the world and if this trend continues and Croatia doesn't experience a
wave of immigration, its population could fall under 4 million by
2030, according to a survey entitled "Economics of Ageing in Croatia",
which was presented at the Economics Faculty in Zagreb on Friday.
