(Hina) - Croatia is entering the European Union at a
very important financial and political moment when difficult
negotiations on a long-term European budget are under way and when the
president of the executive authority - the European Commission - will
for the first time be elected by European citizens through the
European Parliament, the chair of the European Parliament's Committee
on Budgets, Alain Lamassoure, said in Zagreb on Tuesday, underlining
that EU budgetary funds allocated for Croatia had not been put in
