Leko said he was glad to have had the chance to attend the ratification last month and talk with the chairs of both houses of the French parliament, Jean-Pierre Bel and Claude Bartolone.
It was an opportunity to confirm the friendly relations between the two peoples and states, Leko said, adding that it was important to continue to cooperate in order to learn from the French parliament how to exercise national interests within the EU.
Ambassador Boccoz said Croatia's image in France was very positive, in great part thanks to tourism, but also to the "Croatia, la voici" Croatian festival in France.
She supported the improvement of political relations and further cooperation through seminars, training, visits, scholarships in the ENA graduate school of administration and within the International Organisation of La Francophonie, where Croatia has observer status.
Boccoz informed Leko of the excellent impressions during last week's visit by 30 heads of French companies in Croatia, which was organised by the French MEDEF International association of employers and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. She was hopeful the visit would result in further French investment in Croatia.
The two officials expressed an interest in cooperation in science.
