(Hina) - Slovenia's postponement to confirm a
submission to the Court of Arbitration concerning the border dispute
with Croatia is part of the "strategy" and by escalating the
arbitration issue Slovenia is exerting extra pressure on Croatia to
give in to its demands over the now defunct Ljubljanska Bank issue and
is using this as a condition to ratify Croatia's accession treaty,
retired Slovenian diplomat Mirko Cigler and former ambassador to NATO,
said in an interview on Thursday with the Slovenian Delo daily.
