Soccer-Iceland name squad for Japan, England friendlies
REYKJAVIK, May 24 (Reuters) - Iceland coach Asgeir Sigurvinsson named his squad on Monday for an international tournament against England and Japan starting later this month."It is an important part of our preparation for the World Cup
2006 qualifying matches later this year. England and Japan are
tough opponents but we will do our best to get satisfying
results," Sigurvinsson told a news conference.
Iceland face Japan on May 30 before meeting hosts England on
June 5.
