reprezentacije usprkos skandalu koju je izazvao pretukavši svoju
suprugu Sheryl.
Engleski izbornik Glenn Hoddle izjavio je da je "Gazzin 'boks
meč' sa suprugom, eventualno, stvar policije, a ne njegova i da mu
Gasoigne treba za kvalifikacijsku utakmicu protiv gruzije koja se igra
9. studenoga te da ga je stoga pozvao pod zastavu".
