Early speculative selling pressured the March contract under support seen around 10.50, to 10.42. The next level of support was pegged at 10.35 and then at 10.21, the low made April 30. Analysts said today's close suggests prices could hold Wednesday, but the near-term outlook remains to the downside as a lack of physical offtake will continue to weigh on prices. March settled down 0.05 at 10.49, having ranged from 10.54 to 10.42. The deferred months closed unchanged to 0.05 weaker.
