MOSTAR, Dec 3
(Hina) - The Director for the Western Balkans in the
European Commission Directorate General for Enlargement, Pierre Mirel,
has called on politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina not to change the
procedure for the appointment of prosecutors, as proposed by the
Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and the Social
Democratic Party (SDP), as that would reduce the influence of the High
Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and increase that of the executive
authorities.
