ZAGREB, Nov 18
(Hina) - Croatian President Ivo Josipovic has said
that the acquitting verdict rendered by the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the case of Generals Ante
Gotovina and Mladen Markac has proved it was the right decision of the
Croatian state leadership to fully cooperate with the Hague-based UN
tribunal, as the generals are acquitted and the country is on the
threshold of the European Union membership.
