The Finnish side has informed a Croatian parliamentary delegation about the ratification status, expressing its unquestionable support for the completion of Croatia's EU integration, the statement said.
A delegation of the Croatian parliamentary foreign policy and European integration committees visited Finland on November 6-7, meeting with Finnish Parliament Speaker Eero Heinaluoma and members of the parliamentary European affairs and foreign policy committees as well as of the Finish-Croatian friendship group.
The delegation also met with Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja.
The talks confirmed the excellent cooperation between the Croatian and Finnish parliaments and the wish to intensify it once Croatia joins the European Union, which is scheduled for July 1, 2013.
