Inzko insisted the US and the EU have a central role in supporting democratic processes, strengthening the responsibility of the authorities and establishing the rule of law and human rights in BH, Iznko's office said in a statement after the talks.
The EU and the US have a central role in supporting those values, notably when they are being threatened, and with continuous international support those principles can and will take hold in BH, Inzko said.
During the talks with Clinton and Ashton, the Austrian diplomat said the country had previously achieved solid progress in establishing sustainable institutions and raising living standards on its path to full Euro-Atlantic integration.
The progress can continue if politicians who are looking to the past stop with obstructions, he said.
Underlining the tight cooperation between his office, the EU Delegation and the US Embassy to Sarajevo, Inzko said the international community was strongest when it was united.
