(Hina) - The Croatian Parliament unanimously passed
the Financial Operations and Pre-Bankruptcy Settlement Act on Friday
after the government accepted an amendment put forward by the
strongest opposition party, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), to
throw out a section regulating debt settlement for solidary debtors,
which the HDZ said would have generated illiquidity.
