"Croatia and Austria have many interests in common because Austria is part of the region too and the stability of the region impacts the stability of our countries."
Pusic said her meeting with Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger was a regular and normal job but absolutely useful.
She said they talked about Austria's draft law on national minorities, adding this was a very important topic for Croatia. "The Burgenland Croats are key to us but the draft also refers to other autochthonous minorities."
Speaking of the investment climate in Croatia, which she discussed with Spindelegger, Pusic said Croatia had taken some steps, although there was still room for progress.
Speaking of a conference on the European Union's role in UN human rights reform which she attended in Vienna, Pusic said Croatia saw human rights as one of the key components of foreign policy, "notably as we are quite represented in EU, UN and NATO peace missions."
