The Commission published on its website the names of 30,352 candidates that have been vetted and are entitled to run in the elections, of whom 550 are candidates for municipal heads.
The Commission earlier on rejected the candidacies of 113 persons.
On the final list, 64.5 per cent of the candidates are men and the rest are women.
Thirty per cent of the candidates are under 30.
Eighty-four political parties and 59 party coalitions have their candidates running in the polls. There are also 224 independent candidates and 16 slates of independent candidates.
Alongside local leaders in 139 municipalities, Bosnian citizens will also elect deputies in the assemblies of Brcko District and the City of Banja Luka as well as the Banja Luka mayor.
Municipal elections will not be held in Mostar because the electoral system regulated by the city statute has been declared unconstitutional and the political parties in power have not agreed new solutions.
